    Prices will have to go up a lot more to really get the attention of the liberals. Probably will have to wait for winter when the Northeast cannot afford to buy heating oil and they start freezing to death by the tens of thousands before they demand a change in drilling laws, of course they will have just elected a fully Democratic government who won’t be able to find thier asses with both hands so I guess the die off will get bigger before it gets smaller. Hey, now that I think about it, this is good news for us gun loving, conservitive types with wood stoves and woods on our property. Gotta go buy some chickens!!

    All that I know is that when you want to fish in the Gulf of Mexico, you go to the oil platforms. In spite of Rita going through the heart of production off of Louisiana’s coast, there were only a few very small spills in spite of the number of platforms that were toppled and dragged along th sea bottom by the waves.

    That’s no joke. My parents up in New Hampshire just paid $600 dollars for their heating oil. My moms working three jobs to support my younger bros. And my step dad is down and out, can’t work, right now because of surgery he had a few weeks ago. :sad:

    I have friends that live out in the country and use heating oil … They are filling up now too, anticipating possibly higher prices in a few months.
