What is wrong with a 6-year old holding an unloaded gun? Nothing. The only thing that I saw was that the convicted felon father didn’t teach his daughter not to point the gun at anyone, even himself. A lesson I would imagine he never learned either.
June 9th, 2008 at 9:44 amThis guy’s main mistake was not teaching proper handling. I have no problem with supervised 6-year-olds handing unloaded firearms,and possibly shooting .22s. But a convicted felon with illegal firearms giving them to a small child to handle dangerously? THAT gets me angry, because it is bad practice, and could end tragically.
