I'd like to see this in the courts.
Freedom of speech IS a right.
Tax exemption isn't.

The reason that this is a big issue that the Democrats want to keep separate is that the Scripture is quite clear about a number of things: Created men and women (not gay, trans, or bi), murder is punisible by death (out of respect for the life taken unfairly), marriage is to be honored, homosexuality is a perversion and a result of disobeying God, life is precious, take care of the widow and orphans (those who cannot care for themselves), if someone is not willing to work (if capable) don't feed them. So in light of Scripture, it would be pretty hard to argue in favor of the killing the innocent preborns, saving the murderers on death row, being in favor of gay"marriage" (an oxymoron), promoting lesbians, homosexual men, transgender and bisexuality as normal, and paying plenty of money (taken from those who do work) to those who refuse to work.

Pstors don't lose their First Amendment rights when they step into the pulpit. This was the EXACT scenario that the Danbury Baptists were worried about. Thomas Jefferson assured them in his letter that the government would stay out of the pulpit.

I swear Libs and Islamo-facists are operating from the same page. Different jihad...same goals...Call it the malicious mendacity of dopes (progressives).

This sounds just like repulican bs. The same people that want to take away some of our rights are the same ones that always go back to the constitution when they want to be heard.
Go back to Washington and blow your nose on the First Amendment, cause that is just what will b done if you dont vote Democrat this November.

It almost looks like analysis were the third of those 'impossible' professions in which one can be quite sure of unsatisfying results. The other two, much older-established, are the bringing up of children and the government of nations.SigmundFreudSigmund Freud, 1937

This is insanity. The old "leaders are chosen by God" and "render unto Caesar" lines that are pulled out to justify all kinds of abominations (including the war in '03) goes out the window when it becomes convenient. I don't care what you have to say or who you'd like to endorse. Please do so. But to accept tax-exemption and tax-deductible donations as you're flagrantly interfering with the political process is dishonest and hypocritical. "No law but God's law", says one poster. Right. And "No God but Allah and Muhammed is his prophet." Has a similar ring to it, no? Like theocracies? Spend some time in Iran. Enjoy yourself. As I'm writing this I see the disclaimer by the webmaster above the comments section. He writes: "It ain't about free speech, remember you're in a private domain. My website, my prerogative." Absolutely. And in regards to these pastors: "It ain't about free speech, remember you're accepting public money. Our money, our prerogative."
