Brother the word Jihad comes from the arabic word Jahda which means to strive or struggle or to strive. A working man who earns for his family is doing Jihad too because he is striving for the well being of his family a student is doing Jihad too because he is striving to get knowledge. And the word Islam has two meanings Islma means submitting your will to God and salam means peace so muslims are infact servants of God they do what God says, Abraham Moses, Jesus (peace be on them all) muslims too because they did what God want them to do, infact every Prophet was a muslim ( submitted their will to God, in other words did what God liked) there is no fight what is right and wrong search for the truth yourself. And by the way the word Allah means “The God”

Words are creations of man and thus defined by man. your definition of Muslim, Islam and/or Jihad are meaningless to anyone but a Muslim.
Take the word gay. Used to mean happy; it has changed to mean something vile. To the western world jihad means to strive for the death of infidels. We did not create this reality Muslims did.
The definitions that matter to us are the ones that will not allow freedom loving people to be lulled into believing that Islam and Muslims are not a threat.
