You can run…..

But you can’t hide…

Missan, Jun 16, (VOI) – Sadr’s office in the center of Amara was evacuated on Monday, and Sadr’s headquarter in the city moved to another building, said a senior member from Missan province’s Martyr al-Sadr office.

“Sadr office moved to another ‘good location,’ rented in Awasha neighborhood (Amara center),” the source told Aswat al-Iraq - Voices of Iraq - (VOI) on condition of anonymity.

Missan’s Sadr office originally occupied a building that was a former office of the dissolved Baath party.

“The process took place without any pressure, and according to no requests from security forces present in the province,” he said.

“It was due to Sayyid Muqtada al-Sadr’s instructions to evacuate state-owned buildings occupied by Sadr offices throughout Iraq,” he added.

The source noted that the new building was rented two months ago.

On Saturday, Premier Nouri al-Maliki announced Missan province as being a disarmed area, offering gunmen a four day ultimatum to handover their arms.

Amara, capital city of Missan province, lies 390 km south of Baghdad
