so, that kid plays guitar fine, what’s the originality there ? he isn’t Mozart, no new melodies come out of his guitar, he is just aping a few stars and helping his father’s business being productive.
OK, Mozart was also “exploited” by his father, though Mozart had the “impertinence” of the god-gifted, and soon became “unmanageable”.
That kid, can play guitar as a major interest, though he needs to get more wider musical education, classics, history of musics, learn composition to make the titillement

It’s a shame that people with such talent that love what they do and do it masterfully are shunned instead of embraced.
June 18th, 2008 at 5:25 amthe kid is talented and should have a place to play. he’s definately earned it. but i agree with the state law. a roadhouse, or night club is not an atmosphere for child. and at 12, he is a child. there are better places he can show his talent and skill.
