UPDATE: To anyone who thinks I am mocking God or religion with this post. I am not. I am mocking the images some in the media are using to portray Sen. Obama. Such as the Reuters photo above. Or this DaVincian New York Magazine image. Or this cover of Rolling Stone. No disrespect towards God or persons of faith intended at all. The jesting is not aimed at religion, God, or Sen. Obama — but rather those pushing these Holy Images of the Illinois senator who is, after all, but a man.

If there is anything that marks Obama, it is his mouth: slick and polished.
I saw an old photo some time back of Mao Zedong speaking to a crowd and one of his young admiring fans, standing with his mouth open in adoring worship of his idol god.
It is an affliction of the human condition that sinners always want someone other than the true God to worship, but they have a need to worship SOMETHING, so the devil is busy giving them plenty of things to worship: the latest rock god, the latest fashion, the latest “American Idol”, the fastest car, etc.
Jesus is the answer to this and all other sins.
