WTF Is This “National Consensus” Bullshit Kennedy Pulls Out Of His Ass On Child Rape Ruling?

Okay, so the SCROTUM…er…Unelected Constitutional Rewriters…er…Supreme Court, handed down its decision today regarding the death penalty in child rape cases, and as you probably know, it ruled that in such cases the death penalty can not be used.
Justice Anthony “Watch-me-pull-a-rabbit-outta-my-ass” Kennedy, wrote in his, oh, what the hell do you call that, you know, where they justify exercising their extremely prejudiced biases while rewriting our Constitution…
Oh yeah, Ceasar’s Decree.
Anyway you can watch Laura Ingraham, former SCOTUS clerk (I like her new show, btw, beats the hell out of John “Dry Toast” Gibson), read what Kennedy said in the Majority Opinion…
“The death penalty is not a proportional punishment for the rape of a child, there is a national consensus against capital punishment for the crime of child rape.” -Anthony Kennedy

Michelle Malkin’s site has a piece describing what this POS stepfather did to that 8 yo girl. WARNING: Explicit. If you think you’re PO’d now, I guarantee if you read what’s on Michelle’s site you’ll be PO’d times 1,000.
Just makes you sick at heart.

Until my fucking phone rings and they get my answer/opinion it AIN’T a fucking “national concensus” …
June 25th, 2008 at 1:57 pmJust read the info over at Michelle’s site …
Yeah, I know enough about gyn. to know that the girl could have easily bled to death from the injury …
Just saying …

June 25th, 2008 at 2:05 pmLike the Constitution, national consensus means whatever the fuck Kennedy decides it means.
We really need to take the Court back. One more, just one more, Justice and we can start undoing shit like this.
June 25th, 2008 at 2:19 pm“The Supreme Court is dead wrong.? ?“It is fundamentally improper for the Supreme Court to base an important decision like this on its ‘independent judgment’ about a perceived ‘national consensus against capital punishment for the crime of child rape.’ The opinion reads more like an out-of-control legislative debate than a constitutional analysis.?
?“One thing is clear: the five members of the Court who issued the opinion do not share the same ‘standards of decency’ as the people of Louisiana. One Justice said that ‘the death penalty is not a proportional punishment for the rape of a child.’ That is incredibly absurd. The most repugnant crimes deserve the harshest penalties, and nothing is more repugnant than the brutal rape of an eight-year-old child. ? ?“We will evaluate ways to amend our statute to maintain death as a penalty for this horrific crime.”
June 25th, 2008 at 3:02 pmFrom Louisiana Governor Jindal.
What we need is a national concensus on what the penalty should be for poser jurists.
June 25th, 2008 at 3:04 pmThis is not the consensus of America, this is the consensus of lawyers who have never had a real job and who have no sense of right and wrong.
June 25th, 2008 at 3:58 pmThe stae of LA is in favor of chemical castration for child rapists. that’s something.
June 25th, 2008 at 5:27 pmPersonally I am in favor of throwing child rapists … actually all rapists into a fucking incinerator. Fuck ‘em let them burn, they need the practice for their next place of residence. I have a feeling that vigilantism is going to make a big come back if shit like this keeps rolling out of the SCROTUM … I mean SCOTUS.
June 25th, 2008 at 6:26 pmThey never asked me my opinion! Is everyone with the last name “Kennedy” a total moron?!?
June 26th, 2008 at 12:08 pmI was i nthe military for 25 years and we still had death as a possible sentence for rape when I joined.
But, now that I teach substantive and constitutional law I agree with SCOTUS.
However, I agree because I know that life in prison will be absolute hell for a child predator. The death penalty is easy and it costs us an assload of money in appeals.
Every day the Chesters should wonder when the shiv will dig into their flesh like they dug into the flesh of a child. That’s a real punishment. Chesters get “special” treatment in prison.
