I usually find out later the truth of false reports, but the media never correct their misinformation. Example: The AP reported (and then all news media jumped on this report and it was ran endlessly). "A FOB was overtaken by Taliban" (our nine soldiers killed). "The U.S and Coalition Forces abandoned that base following week" Now the truth: "The real story is NOT that this was a "base" - it was a small outpost of 45 men surrounded by concertina wire, with a few vehicles and fortified fighting positions. The real story is NOT that the outpost was "overrun" - the truth is that 45 Heroes successfully fought off an organized attack by hundreds of heavily-armed Taliban and al Queda. I'm with you on this. Since Iraq turned positive they have been looking for defeat in Afganistan. Momenteum is clearly on the NATO side as everytime the Taliban mounts an offensive they are mowed down. When the revolution starts we'll replace the Main Scream defeatests with a Thomas Paign or maybe a Tometta Paign. We got plenty of candidates for that job. Afterwards, we can hang 'em high. If you know what I mean? :wink: In the meantime, we get our news from the web and use the LLMSM papers to train the puppy with, line the bird cage with, or keep the weeds out of the garden with.
