Uncle Remus was a Disney character from an old Disney movie called “Song Of The South” … He was an elderly ‘black’ gentleman that was a strolling story teller, and one of his stories involved a character by the name of “De Tar Baby” …
It was a fake “baby” that was created to ‘trick’ another character in the story, that ended up tackling with De Tar Baby and getting in a powerful mess …
In recent decades the beloved Disney movie was actually slammed and locked in the Disney vault after it was deemed “racist” … pretty much the way Mark Twain’s writings were deemed racist and demanded removing from libraries.
