    It took 10 seconds for me to recognize the Flick…I didn’t realize it when I saw it in the theater in 1978 I was only 21…but I know now, 30 years later that “Deer Hunter” is a hate America, hate the U.S. Military and hate the U.S. Soldiers, Sailors, Airman and The U.S. Marines, Liberal Hollywood propaganda bullshit trying to convince the American people that America is evil.

    And to an extent it worked…you know, the death of thousand paper cuts.

    Look at the idiot BHO supporters, the MSM…how you and your fellow Marines in Iraq were portrayed in the press.

    Hells Bells, look at and or imagine the Hollywood “long knives” that have been or will be gunning for Pat in September!

    Anyways, Welsh, my rant here isn’t about you…it’s that movie…it just strikes a nerve in me.

    PS - I just remembered…I met a movie stuntman in 1975, it was a 20 minute encounter in a friend’s driveway in Carmel Valley, he had the rights to a Green Beret’s story of surviving capture by the NVA by way of a dramatic escape, he showed me what I guess was a screen treatment ( I’ve no clue )from what I understand “The Deer Hunter” was the movie Hollywood made from that…they only got the escape, more or less correct!

    The Green Beret, who literally had half his face shot off,( I saw a photo) was awarded the Medal of Honor by Pres. Nixon. His story was Pro America, Military and freedom and we citizens end up seeing something like “The Deer Hunter” :shock: :shock: :shock:
