Why, a pacifist should be positively HONORED to get this shirt. I can completely understand her not wanting to bear arms against an enemy determined to kill our troops. The shirt merely assumes that she will honor her convictions — and honor our troops — by standing in front of them to take the enemy’s bullets.

For her to leap to the conclusion that our troops would shoot HER, and her conclusion that that is the meaning of the shirt, is to show how HER mind works. She thinks our troops are the murderers, not the enemy.
