All I have to say is DAMN it was good to see that guy tonight. That video from 1993 has haunted me for years and years and I often wondered about Durant, but at those odd times where you can’t right just then do any research…and then the thought slips away.

Damned good to see him. He looks good, sounds good, and like American Infidel said, did you see the look in his eye?

I remember the photos of Mike Durant from then. I have nothing but respect for him and am so glad he has made these statements. He is a highly respected man.

Obama is the biggest sham I have ever seen. He is yet another embarassment to the State of Illinois.

As far as I am concerned he is not fit to be among our wounded men and women so it worked out for the best.

The real shame in this whole matter is Black Hawk down didn’t have to happen! If that POS Clinton, had only appointed a Sec Def who had a brain it wouldn’t have happened. This is a huge issue because Obama will appoint another POS to the job of Sec Def and the end result is MORE of us in the military will be KILLED because of it!

The critical moment in that ‘93 affair came when our military needed to extract our injured and dead but had to wait till another nations peacekeeping force (Pakistan) could bring out the necessary armor. I remember weeks before that, a discussion with a friend and his lib girlfriend that the Whitehouse had kept our tanks from being sent to Mogadishu as was requested by the military because “it sends the wrong message to the rest of the world about our objectives.” Obama is the latest dem who still thinks world affairs is a beauty contest.

I thought about Retired U.S. Army Michael Durant most of night last night.

I remembered the disdain the Clintons and their cronies had for our military which exposed itself in so many different fashions.

[1] How they treated our men and women in Armed Forces then and back in the 60’s.

[2] The Depletion of our military funds, weaponry, Air Force War planes. (My uncle use to work on them and he would rant about how the dems. removed so much funding that our Airmen were in great danger flying those planes because of the conditions they were in due to no funding for maintenance). That was when my uncle left the Democrat party.

[3] They (Dems) tried their hardest to remove our national sovereignty. They actually had kept our tanks from being sent to Mogadishu as was requested by the military because “it sends the wrong message to the rest of the world about our objectives” rightangle

[4] I remember when Bill Clinton won the POTUS election, some of my Marine friends and family were pissed. They [all]
said “they knew they were gonna be treated like trash to be taken out.” They were all trying to figure out how to get out of our military as soon as possible because they did not want to serve under Clinton as the Commander in Chief.

[5] This could just go on and on. There were tons of disgraces the Dems and their ideology brought to our country and to our Armed Forces. I’m sure everyone here at Dollards could add to this list.

She right there in this short video shows us all why the liberal ideology cannot be in leadership of our country. They do not want to serve…They want to [BE] served. The “Blackhawk Down” incident stemmed directly from Clinton himself denying the ground commander the assest he requested which included tanks as someone above mentioned as well as AC-130 “Specter” Gunships, and LAV’s.

The bitch of the whole thing is that particular mission was a success, costly but TF Ranger got the guys they were after.

The real suck is that Momar Adid’s (the main guy we were after)son is now in charge. This guy was a grunt with 7th Marines when they first pushed into Somalia.

SUSAN ESTRICH is a well-know Dhimoid hack. She worked in several Dhimoid campaigns, including Hillary’s. She’s a total tool. I once heard her do a radio interview on Hannity’s radio show by phone and heard the distinctive flick of a BIC lighter while she was talking. That frog in her throat is from smoking. Or she could be channeling Carol Channing? Who knows. She’s annoying.

Mike Durant remains a hero, while SUSAN ESTRICH remains a complete zero in my book.

He still has problems with his back from the crash of his helicopter. And of course we all know the sacrifices of two bad-ass Delta guys on his behalf. The only thing Billy Bob did right was award those two MOH’s to their widows.

BTW it was Les “Dumbass” Aspin that made the decision to pull out Naval and Marine support for TF Ranger. Thankfully, the bitch is now burning in hell. He died a short time after Billy Bob pulled out of Somalia instead of beginning the Long War on Terror there.

No probs. We get a little payback on Somalian piglettes from time to time courtesy of the AF and SF.

Kudos to Mike Durant, TF Ranger and all the Deltas and support folks who participated. You people still rock the house.

I provided access security for one of Warrant Officer Michael Durant’s classified briefings at Ft. Campbell. The stress of his experience definitely took it’s toll. His hair had grown considerably gray by that time. He had quite the story to tell, and he was not pleased with Klintoon’s unnecessary wag-the-dog crap in Somalia.
