Breaking - Robert Novak Hospitalized With Brain Tumor

(FOX)
Columnist Robert Novak was diagnosed with a brain tumor on Sunday and admitted to a Boston hospital.
“On Sunday, July 27, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. I have been admitted to Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, where doctors will soon begin appropriate treatment. I will be suspending my journalistic work for an indefinite but, God willing, not too lengthy period,” Novak, 77, said in a statement to his publisher, according to HumanEvents.com.
Human Events magazine is published by the same company that publishes the Evans-Novak Political Report, Eagle Publishing.
The diagnosis comes less than a week after Novak was cited in Washington, D.C., for failing to yield to a pedestrian. Novak struck a man while driving his convertible, although the man did not suffer serious injuries.
Novak also is a FOX News contributor.

Everyone’s getting brain tumors. My mom, sister, co-workers husband, ted kennedy to name a few. Is it cell phones, nutrasweet, or medical advances discovering this?
July 28th, 2008 at 10:02 amcould be any of the 3 reasons you listed steve. nutrasweet has been giving people seizures also. the new cell phone study being conducted in Europe (maybe Germany?) shows the number one common denominator of people they are researching with brain tumors is cell phone use.
July 28th, 2008 at 10:23 amI never got into those cell phones. Everything’s too tiny for my fingers and eyes. On the UPside, my attention is never distracted by one of those things, while driving.
July 28th, 2008 at 10:55 amKut, I think it’s UK
I don’t either use the cell phone, apart while being away, though not near, on car board
July 28th, 2008 at 11:06 amThe first few times I had a soft drink with NutraSweet many years ago, I noticed right away that I got a bad headache every time, so I have avoided anything with NutraSweet since then. Looks like it was a good idea.
July 28th, 2008 at 11:52 amI NEVER touch the crap. Ditto in that ‘headache’ remark, O.S.
NEVER drank diet soda … but then, not a soda drinker.
If no Splenda is available, I will use regular sugar in my coffee …
My doctor condemns NutraSweet … But advocates Splenda.
July 28th, 2008 at 11:59 amWell I have a cell phone but nobody ever calls me and if they ever do I usually don’t answer. I’m not big on phone conversations. Guess I’m doing good.
July 28th, 2008 at 12:15 pmI use a cell phone but not really that often. i like the idea of not being found most the time so i usually turn it off. and no diet crap either. i have tried it before and it gave me a headache also, and a little while later i heard it can give people seizures and all kinds of other stuff.
July 28th, 2008 at 12:18 pmThe first person I knew to own a cellphone back in ‘94 died of a brain tumor about four years later. Maybe coincidence, maybe not…
July 28th, 2008 at 12:19 pmIf you own a cell phone you have to see this!!

July 28th, 2008 at 12:22 pmGood luck to Mr. Novak, brain tumors are serious.
July 28th, 2008 at 12:34 pmOK tedders, the cells phone burns the cells brain
I am afraid that the youngest generation will have a burned head soon.
Did you remarck, that the youngs don’t listen to us if we are not talking through their cells phone ?
July 28th, 2008 at 12:37 pmI hold the phone about a finger section from my head, it does not touch which I read somewhere that should help.
