    Police have a very difficult job. Sometimes their compassion for human beings astounds me. This footage shows how far they go beyond simple law enforcement. They must act as mediators, psychologists, referees, councilors and cops. I always look forward to going out with them on night patrols, you never know what you are going to run in to.
