Fire Mission In Afghanistan-Callibration
Caption: Just playin with the guns at FOB wilderness in afghanistan. somewhere near gardez. anyway, pretty cool for people who havent seen a howitzer before. this is called callibrating where we rig this computer to the gun and it gives us info like how fast the round is coming out, etc….

Boresighting is the process of aligning the sights with the gun tube. I never heard the process ever called “calibrating”.
