July 20th, 2008 at 11:18 amYou have to believe, after all of the beating around the bush, that the Europeans aren’t really serious about stopping Iran from doing anything. You could name any number of factors that could be behind their behavior, from the large number of muslims in their countries to their large business ties (read money$$) with Iran, into the equation.
The bottom line seems to be that if anyone is going to stop Iran, it will have to be Israel or the US. No one else has the courage or the military strength to do the right thing.
