Hussein Refuses To Commit To Town Hall Meeting At Ft. Hood With Veterans And Military Members - With Videos

Chickenshit motherfucker…
A coalition of military groups is planning a nationally televised town-hall-style meeting with the presidential candidates near Fort Hood, Tex., the largest active-duty military installation in the country. But so far, only Senator John McCain of Arizona, the presumptive Republican nominee, has agreed to attend.
CBS has agreed to broadcast the meeting live from 9 to 11 p.m. Eastern time on Monday, Aug. 11. The candidates would face questions directly from an audience of 6,000 people, made up of veterans, service members and military families from the base.
Senator Barack Obama of Illinois, the presumptive Democratic nominee, has not agreed to participate.
“Senator Obama strongly supports America’s veterans and military families and has worked hard on their behalf in the Senate,” said Phillip Carter, director of Mr. Obama’s veterans effort and an Iraq war veteran. “While we unfortunately had a previously scheduled commitment on the date proposed, Senator Obama looks forward to continuing the dialogue he’s been having throughout the country with veterans on how we can better serve our men and women in uniform as they serve us.” (NYT)
And let us not ever forget this video:

Once again proving that this fool is nothing without his teleprompter. Just an empty suit.
July 14th, 2008 at 2:32 pmMore evidence that this Code Pink-loving COWARD is unfit to serve as Commander in Chief.
July 14th, 2008 at 2:32 pmI can’t stand that last video! Sounds like he is stating his terms for the ultimate surrender of our nation. Ting tang obamalama ding dong.
July 14th, 2008 at 2:35 pmremember the obama watch “countdown clock” that got him to finally agree to an interview on FNC??
we NEED McCain to keep call him out on his avoidance of a debate with him until he has NO choice but to do it - and get his arse handed to him!!
McCain! if you or anyone in your camp reads this! he needs to be called a wussy and made to look like a coward for the whole world to see by not debating you! that will either 1) force him into a debate, or 2) show people how empty of a suit he REALLY is!! his wussieness must be made as public as possible!
July 14th, 2008 at 2:39 pmAnd he is going to Iraq with shitheads Harry Reed and Chuck Hagel to “consult” with our military commanders. What a joke - please contact all of our soldiers in Iraq and tell them to give these 3 assholes a swift kick in the behind and tell them to go to HELL!!!
July 14th, 2008 at 2:44 pmMaybe the 3rd I.D can go pick him up and bring him there. he just does not have the balls to go and look them in the eyes and tell them why he is against our military.
July 14th, 2008 at 2:46 pmSpeeches all he knows….
July 14th, 2008 at 2:53 pmI’m crossing my fingers that his fucking plane crashes or an IED gets him when he’s making peace in Iraq. Either way, we’ll be better off.

July 14th, 2008 at 2:58 pmOh no! You mean he’d have to speak “of the cuff” and mean what he says! Hell no that ain’t happenin’. He needs a prearranged adoring audience that will coo every time he breaks wind. You can’t throw him to a pack of mentally able, “real” Americans. Give him a room full brainless lib-dolts that will ask a bevy of acceptable (meaningless) questions and he’ll have his flock fainting on cue.
July 14th, 2008 at 3:46 pmCan’t say I blame him for not wanting to do the military town hall meeting.
He would have 5 or 6 new assholes by the time it was over.
It just goes to show how much of a coward he really is. He can talk all this shit to Code Pink and the ACLU, but when it comes to telling the military what he believes, he doesn’t want any part of it.
July 14th, 2008 at 3:59 pmsigh, I hate when our troops are used for politics
July 14th, 2008 at 4:05 pmThe military and defending this country is a major part of politics. I don’t think you could avoid the topic during an election year, especially while at war. The defense of this country is one of the few legitimate intents of our government in the first place. But of all the people that should get the chance to have a potential Commander-in-Chief answer some relevant questions I think it should be our troops.
July 14th, 2008 at 4:27 pmTo add in, another reason he is unfit to be President, he can’t face a town hall meeting with the best. What a coward he is.
July 14th, 2008 at 6:38 pmSomeone wrote that Obama is planning to start a “civil security force that’s as large as the U.S. military.” Is this true?
July 14th, 2008 at 7:50 pmOh. Obama’s going to have a shadow military. Comprised of lefties and so on. Yep, makes perfect sense.
July 14th, 2008 at 7:53 pmI cannot wait for the presidential debates … Obama is fucking toast if he gets one question that he does not have a boiler plate answer for. Although the only station that would follow-up on questions to him where he would have to explain something further than his pre-written answers would be FNC. I would not be surprised if he avoids FOX like the fucking plague later this year. I expect something to occur with his Kool-Aid drinkers that they will raise another stink with FOX just so they can pretend to be justified in their running away.
July 14th, 2008 at 8:05 pmHe’s afraid of the military… sounds like he’d like his own.
from Obama’s speech on public service 7/2/8:
http://weblogs.baltimoresun.com/news/politics/blog/2008/07/obamas_call_for_more_public_se.html
“We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we’ve set,” he said. “We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well funded.”
I think Chavez has one of those as well.
July 14th, 2008 at 8:21 pmFor some odd reason, a “civilian national security force” REALLY reminds me of those plain-clothes secret police guys in V for Vendetta.
(Except in that movie I was totally rooting for them)
