Hypocritical Idiot Quote Of The Day: Harry Reid

Harry Reid gets the Hypocritical Quote of the Day award. The context is with regard to Senator Tom Coburn (R-Oklahoma) who has a hold on a few bills (70 or 80, LOL, I hear its his “thing” to force debates)…anyway…

Now, what I want you to bear in mind is the whole Drill Here. Drill Now. Pay Less. theme…you know drilling in general, whether it in ANWR or the Outer Continental Shelf or wherever, we all know Reid & Pelosi have been screwing us over big time.

Today, Harry Reid said this about Coburn:

“But instead of allowing the will of the Congress and the American people to be heard, Republicans have obstructed one bill after another…Senate Democrats are not willing to allow this obstruction … any longer. Republicans will have a choice: Will they join the side of the American people, or continue to stand beside one or two colleagues intent on blocking progress?”

Think about that for a minute…

Lowest approval rating in the history of any congress.

One or two colleagues bent on stopping progress…

Yeah. Sure thing, Harry.

Republicans aren’t “American people” too Harry?

Reid is trying to tie a bunch of bills together to escape roll call votes and go to recess without any debate on energy, mortgage reform, etc…. FUCK YOU REID!!
Procedural ‘complaints’ are the only tool left to Repubs to try and force the Dhimmis to VOTE and at LEAST get their traitorous asses on record for betraying America!!! Get’ em Coburn!!

Wow this guy is dumber than a bag of hammers. he really is clueless isnt he? does he really believe that he is doing a good job as majority leader, or Pelosi as the speaker? asshole is so detached from the people that he seems convinced that the answer to those questions is yes.

And you thought that A-20 pilot had balls? This guy has what’s known in Williamsburg, Brooklyn as CHUTZPAH.

Errr…make that “A-10 pilot”. My proofreader was on break.

“Senate Democrats are not willing to allow this obstruction”

Right….so that’s why they have blocked drilling and energy independence for decades. This one quote is full of ignorance and lies, and it fully exposes the beltway detachment from reality. Shit, no wonder we have problems with this weak defeatist in a position of power.

I gain clarity from the leadership in the Congress. They are always wrong. Just the opposite is taking place in the Congress. The leadership block anything with common sense and won’t allow the Repubs to even speak.

The low poll numbers for Congress are the fault of the Dem leadership. There are many good guys on the Republican side. They are screwed by the Dems just like the American people.

“Drill Or Die Motherfucker, Drill Or Die!”

This little bitch is the leader of the United States Senate?

    Anybody embarrassed about that?

  11. Happyone

Flat out he lies and so does Peloski. They try to blame their hold up of votes and bills on Repub’s. Hey, you guys control both houses, you chumps.

    Tom Coburns words:

“Senator Reid unveiled his long threatened omnibus bill yesterday that he called the Advancing America’s Priorities Act. The Reid Omnibus is 398 pages and contains approximately 35 various bills.

So what are America’s priorities according to the Senate Majority Leader? A close examination makes it obvious why the approval ratings of Congress have dropped to historic lows in the single digits.”

    S. 1498, the “Captive Primate Safety Act” (S-CHIMP?)

    S. 1079, the “Star-Spangled Banner and War of 1812 Bicentennial Commission Act”

    S. 1446, the “National Capital Transportation Amendments Act of 2007”

I just got an email from Freedom’s Watch about this, contacted my senators. Reid bundled all the bills together and is calling them the “Coburn Omnibus” and plans an up or down vote, circumventing the holds. If anyone here cares, go to Freedom’s Watch and contact your senators to ask them to vote against the Omnibus bill. Coburn’s a good man, holding the Lib’s feet to the fire whenver he can.

    Sic em’ Coburn!

    That’s one of my senators!

I know Tom Coburn personally.. One heck of a nice guy, very supportive of our troops and a true American. One of the few Congressmen who take the time to sit and talk to a simple housewife and Army mom for 45 minutes because he felt she had something of value to say. If he is holding something up then he believes it is for the best.
