INPs, MND-B Soldiers seize massive cache in Baghdad Multi-National Division – Baghdad PAO
BAGHDAD – Iraqi National Police and Multi-National Division – Baghdad Soldiers seized a massive weapons cache in the Kadhamiyah district of Baghdad July 24.
National police with the Presidential Brigade, 2nd National Police Division, and Soldiers with the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division, discovered the cache in a basement at approximately 8:00 a.m.
The cache consisted of 71 blocks of Iranian C-4; 16 60 mm high-explosive Iranian mortars; 11 explosively formed projectiles; an improvised claymore; 42 mortar rounds; 31 85 mm PG-7 heat rockets; eight grenades; two 73 mm PG-9 rockets; 11 40 mm OG-7V HE projectiles; four 75 mm fragmentary rockets; four rocket propelled grenade launchers; 22 rocket propellant charges; approximately 30 lbs. of RDX based explosives; approximately 10 lbs. of triple base propellant; several EFP casings, copper liners, back plates and collars; 200 quick disconnects; approximately 5,000 feet of command wire; two mortar tubes; several spools of wire; 35 flares; a Draganoff scope; a pair of binoculars; a welding tank; .50 caliber ammunition; 7.62 mm ammunition; a DSHKA heavy machine gun; grenade fuses; blasting caps and other bomb-making material.

July 26th, 2008 at 3:41 pmWar with Iran is inevitable. Time to step up the attacks inside Iran. Give them a taste of their own medicine. This is one time we have a Nation-state as a target as opposed to just merely a philosophy (Islam) w/o a nation-state.
Taking Iran down will help far more people than it will hurt including Israel, Iraq, Lebanon and the Iranians themselves.
