Stroke of Midnight:
In just about 30 minutes a young she-devil will come crawling through the window just above my knee. The smoky veil of hair. the possible glimpse of claw and fang, the curves of large breast on rail-thin body hanging and gliding across the sill…she brings the dreams and trouble and lies and comfort and lethal battle and searing wet heat that are the stock in trade of her kind.
The heat kills things here and now.
As an eye is healed before the next war of earthly metal can be joined, I find myself running headlong into all of the battles in the war for the human soul.

It’s arguably incredible that the EFP situation in Iraq has almost totally evaporated so quickly, but the key question which may open some strategic doors for us in the future is, is the drop due to the relentlesss military, political and social smashing the Iraqis ( with our support, of coursef ) have been giving the Shiite militias, or has Iran, for some probably nefarious reason, actually begun to pull back on their supply lines into Iraq?

I hope everyone is enjoying Sgt. Welsh’s contributions to the site. He’s gonna be off for two weeks for some kind of military training..
