Just got up. Have no idea how much better or worse the world is….

The business of life is…important…and takes up a lot of fucking time. Too much I think, if you’ve got kids.
And way too much, if you’re deployed, expecially if you’re on point in harms way, every day. Every day. On point beng a key term here, ie not just based in what is techinically a comabat zone. There are such warriors. I’ve met too many Marines who had never met their children, and who knew their wives’ telephone voice better than they knew their face.
So much bullshit, points of business, to attend to in the civilian world. Most who serve in combat zones find themselves torn between both places once they return. To varying degrees.

O’Reilly just said that Hussein is batting .500 on his correctness of positions on Iraq. Love ya Bill, the country owes you a debt for changing the face of news, but this ass kissing of this guy so he’ll go on your show is just plain wrong.

Okay, let me get this straight. Hussein repeats what others have already been saying, and saying because they are merely stating the obvious. In fact the entire U.S. Marine Corps requested it late last year: As troops free up from Iraq, some should be sent to Afghanistan, to bolster our numbers for a more aggressive posture, and improved security and training. But Hussein repeats what others have said and is simply The Obvious, and calls it “His Plan”, and the press follow along.
If it takes so little to be President, I wonder how easy it would be to be King of The World….

Oh, and where the fuck did the day go? Anybody else feel like time is moving more quickly lately? Maybe it’s aging….someone once told me his experience was that the older he got. the quicker every day went by….
