Stroke Of Midnight:
Obama: Today’s Success in Iraqâ€â€NOT Thanks to U.S. Troops
Crazy , worse than you probably expect, check it out:
“What Could Jesus Learn From Obama?”
It’s always darkest before dawn. Bear in mind, when speaking of a metaphorical darkness before a metaphorical dawn, the darkness could last 4 or 8 years, and hell, much, much more, depending on what happened during any of those years…

Hussein is the latest front in The War On Terror.
2:00 A.M.
John Lennon: “War is over, if you want it.”
Pat Dollard: “War is over, if you want it badly enough that you make the proper commitment to winning it.”
6:08 A.M.
Welcome to the office, East Coast. You’ve got a front-row seat to the apocalypse, right here at Pat Dollard.com…
6:25 ‘A.M.
Do you think Chris Matthews will just sort of drop dead or fall into an incoherent depression if Hussein loses?
7:31 A.M.
There’s virtually nothing on the AP wire’s Politics and World Events sections except a ridiculous overload of stories about Hussein’s trip, entire stories dedicated to separate details about one event covered in five other stories. This one was rich: “Obama Tries To Reassure
Israelis And Palestinians”. About what and how? He has no authority. Very reminiscent of the second Stroke of Midnight video. The press is just as convinced as he that the election ended about a year ago.
And then of course, they’re also running this very important story: “Magazine: Obama’s Daughters Have Youthful Zeal, Manners”.
And, just in case you hadn’t decided whether or not to vote for said Hussein, the AP is trumpeting this instant classic: “Obama’s Great Uncle Recalls Liberating Camp From Nazis”.
Hmmmm…is Hussein a war hero by proxy?
8:21 A.M.
“Freedom’s” just another word for “We’ve got plenty of booze.”

Been working for a week and a half without any sort of news constantly droning in the background, interesting, but leaving me feeling out of touch with the BREAKING news world. Normally, running a site like this is a lot like playing a first-person shooter game, like “Doom” or “Unreal Tournament”, a game I’m sorry to say that I had a national ranking of 17 whilst in my 30′s who sad is that. Sad, because it means that untold hours were spent, well, playing a game. Anyway, there’s a sense of hurling through a day at warp speed, checking dozens and dozens of sources around the world for stories, keeping up on everything that is breaking so you’re not behind the competition, and finding the gems that the competition hasn’t found yet, and that might even escape everyone’s attention. Like Bash did the other day with the stick spermwaste who spit on the vet. It’s a constant state of constant storytelling combat, flush with kinetic energy, adrenaline ( sort of ) and stress. Just ask The “Emergency Room” Bashman.
Anyway, having that droning tv is the best way to have at least the basic, normal news headlines constantly fresh in your mind. Do you care? Not sure I do either. But I just wrote all that so I’m not deleting it.

What I do know is that there’s a solid minimum of 18 months of real and intense warfare guaranteed in Afghanistan ( as I’ve been discussing with friends military, security and journalistic who are also looking to get back and cover this important asap ) and probably a bit longer than that. Both America and Al Qaeda are looking to surge, and although the situation is not nearly as grim as the anti-Conservative MSM would have you believe, a lot of that place is going to get hot. And we gotta get there. In all honesty, and I am very much not alone in this sentiment or feeling or whatever, but as much as we are all happy to see these wars end, there is a part of us that is summec up by the point of a seemingly unfinished and oblique line delivered by Robert Duvall in “Apacalypse Now”.
They’ve taken their sandy beach objective, mopping up, indirect and small arms still coming in at them in spurts, and Duvall as Kilgore
is trudging fearlessly and shirtless up the beach and suddenly a mortar lands just behind him ( there is no shrapnel in Hollywood’s bombs ) and he of course just ignores it and crouches down to eyeball a few of his boys down for cover. Even on his haunches, Duvall still towers a bit above them. He seems wistful, contemplative, sort of staring at the horizon, then the ground. He grabs a handful of sand, does a fast eyeball to eyeball sweep of his men, and then says “You know, someday this war’s gonaa end.” And as he suddenly stands and walks away, our minds catch up with what we’ve just seen, and realize that he has said it with sadness and resignation. A warrior’s sadness and resignation, to me. And yeah, well, for what it’s worth, the confessional for many of us, is that we feel that often too. But we’re not crazy, we want it to end. But something, something, makes us feel like we’ve lost something in as painful a way as losing closest family and friends, as it ends…

There’s a bad moon on the rise. Arm yourself if you’re not already. And prepare to hide them if you have to.

Hussein’s Tawdry Circus Brings Politics And Chaos To Holy Jerusalem Wall
From Drudge:
“OBAMA VISITS WESTERN WALL IN OLD CITY JERUSALEM… ARRIVES AT 5:08 AM LOCAL TIME [10:08 PM ET]… SUNRISE… SHOUTING MAN: ‘JERUSALEM IS NOT FOR SALE, OBAMA’… MOB SCENE… CHAOS… BOWING HIS HEAD IN PRAYER… PLACES NOTE IN WALL… POSES FOR PHOTOS… LOTS OF SHOUTING… LEAVES 5:20 AM… DEVELOPING…”
The world is just better off without some people. That’s why we get rid of them in some fashion or another.
