The United States Marine Corps were responsible for Al Anbar Province in Iraq. No Marine died in vain, no matter how hard many of their fellow Americans tried to make it be so, for nothing more than political and personal gain. The United States of America has just survived the first round of a vast treachery darker than any that has stained it’s honor,reputation and soul.
11:17 A.M.
Back up and on…long night picking up a friend whose headlights went out at about 3 A.M. . He’s scheduled to be back in Baghdad next week, where he won’t have to worry about being stuck in bad neighborhoods…and a bz morning, you know fighting with people over business matters…maybe I’ll head to Baghdad for a vacation from all this conflict…Dems’ spin on John Lennon lyric: “War is over, expect no credit”…
8:40 P.M.
I don’t think McCain and Hussein are going to lighten up on each other any time soon, even if they say they will. And if McCain calls a genuine cease fire, he must be reminded that Hussein’s will be phony, and Hussein will both him below the belt with sneak attacks, and hit him openly with nasty remarks made in softer language, or designed to give him an out: “I didn’t really say that” or “I’m being misinterpreted.
So sit back and watch what is going to be a beautifully ugly war between these two.
