Palestinian artist Walid Ayyub makes the final touches on a portrait for US Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama at his shop in the West Bank city of Ramallah on July 22, 2008.
His other portraits include those of of Jesus Christ, “martyred†Hamas terrorist Abdel Aziz Rantisi, Yasser Arafat, and Che Guevara.
Hussein’s portrait gets a peace dove, of course.
This is all just way too creepy. The whole treatement Hussein is getting, photo ops and meetings with heads of state, someone alluded to the “Beatlemania” tour vibe of 1964, and the insanity of the people who are just gaga over this guy.
My favorite types of movies and art are those that are semi-surreal.
Dude, I feel like I’m watching a David Lynch flick.
