The raid involved tricking the FARC operatives on the ground into thinking the crew on the chopper were on THEIR side … Including wearing fucking Che T-shirts … The lovely French hostage Ingrid Betancourt was even convinced, and you can see at the end of the video how completely relieved she was when she discovered the ruse that had just been pulled on her captors of over 5 yrs. … and the realization of her freedom and life being returned to her.
