CONFIRMED!!!! 80’s music was major sucky. :gun: :gun: :gun: :gun: :gun:

  2. Professor Bill

Metallica and Van Halen had some great albums in the 80’s, it wasn’t all sucky.

That second stanza in that crappy Flock of Seagulls “I RAN” song now makes sense to me. Hey ArmedanddyingJihad:

A cloud appears above your head
A beam of light comes shining down on you
    Shining down on you……

and I ran I ran so far away

I think the 80s had some cool music, especially if you’re into guitar. this song is so damn horrible though

    WOO-HOOO!

    YES!

The last music video volleyball LBA and I held in Deep Thoughts a couple nights ago had a current events ‘play-on-words’ theme to it, and I used that Flock Of Seagulls song just in THAT context!

Wish I had a million to give ya as a prize

Drill. I saw that volley and knew exactly what you were getting at. I was going to add a link then but didn’t. Over in Youtubes Hiroshima vids there are a lot of revisionist/ naive peace features on the use of the atomic bomb. somebody edited some of the footage an laid down that song to it. In the context of the frustration over the revisionists’ plan to make Truman and Tibbets into villains, I thought it was very ironic. This time of year many in Japan lapse into a victim mentality over that affair, but they never acknowledge their own wrongdoings in and around SE Asia WWII, let alone the significantly higher casualty estimates in an invasion-soldier and civilian alike.

Drill, if Shakes has said it once, he’s said it a thousand times: Men Without Hats is BARBARIC!… BARBARIC!

  13. rightangle

 Drill. Sorry, I just got back to the computer. In that same “light” i.e. the “Vapors”, I take it you saw the
“Mental as Anythings” song I put up for Kurt T.I. the other night? It could be interpreted several ways, including radiation/mutation. It is actually about drinking- “The Nips are Getting Bigger” check it out. I never heard the song ’til recently though cause I think the title was too offensive, but damn its a great song.

    The 60s rocked!!!!!
