The first world war began with the Guns of August. The latest, WW III or IV if you count The Cold War, began with the Suicide Missiles of September. And it ain’t over yet, not by a long stretch. But we have been victorious thus far, despite incalculable setbacks. “The war is lost” they said. A congressman. Who should no much better. What really is a man’s motive – i mean think about it, really, REALLY could possibly motivate a man to make a statement of such finality that cares such fatality for the interests of his own people? What rational conclsion can be drawn about what would motivate someone to say that, something so apparently wrong that within months it was physically proven, when the only upside for such a person is that his party gains political advantage if it were true? And what conclusion do we draw about a man and a political party when they say it so often and so loudly, to an audience that includes their nation’s enemiess,,,just what conclusions do we draw about their character, their fitness to provide leadership, the veracity of anything they have to say to us again, when they would say what they did about the most serious concern a nation can face, a war, with the best of it’s young still t the battlefield, still paying the wages of war for us all?

First we hand them the Congress and Senate, and now we hand these very same people the executive office on top of it?

And why is a man who carries the second name Hussein, who makes the bizarre argument that his international background makes him better suited to protect America’s self-interests than if he had been raised only in America, the right man to lead a war against Muslims? Where will his instincts really lie, when and to what degree will he hesitate on key issues regarding this war? I don’t know that I would be the best CIC for a war on radical Catholics. Tough choices to be made. And why is a man who is at odds with the most successful military leader in the world since World War Two, David Petraeus, best suited to be Commander in Chief, during this war? What has Hussein done for America already? What was it again?

It would be good to win this war, this cultural, religious and military world war.

I see you walkin’ in
fear walkin’ by your side
see you walkin’ in
fear walkin’ by my side
followin’,
way up the mountain side
I hate to see, that evening sun go down
In the freezing rain
I move out of the town
might never see
sunrise east again
In your eternity
don’t forget I was your friend

When you see any gay-ass headlines on the site, like “Huffy-Puffy…” or “Pakistan Wants A Pony, Too!” those were posted by the chicks, don’t put that on me. Just check the byline, the part at the top or bottom where it says “Posted by…”. See, they’re not really gay-ass headlines, they’re woman headlines. Same thing, but different.

And on that note, Sgt. Welsh is back from his two weeks of field exercises this weekend, and will be rejoining us, including on Sunday’s notorious Jihadi Killer Hour.

Bash should be back full time next week as well, as he’s sick this week and under Dr.’s orders to stay away from the site and the stress of posting and dealing with Pat Dollard. So he is posting this week as you’ve seen, just not at the usual rate.

The Obama’s tried hard to be the next Brangelina….just why does this man want to be President, really? What is it really all about for him? As people without principles, modern leftists seem to stand for nothing but themselves.

Poll: Hussein’s lead shrinks considerably in 3 key states.

Remember this ? She really said this :

barack-will-never.jpg

From Jim Geraghty At New Republiv Online, when it went down late February:

Last night I appeared on Hugh’s show, and his producer Duane mentioned a Michelle Obama speech at UCLA. Captain Ed talked about this a bit, but I hadn’t seen anyone transcribe the part of the speech where it gets a little… unnerving. It starts at about 8:41 in the audio.

Barack Obama will require you to work. He is going to demand that you shed your cynicism. That you put down your divisions. That you come out of your isolation, that you move out of your comfort zones. That you push yourselves to be better. And that you engage. Barack will never allow you to go back to your lives as usual, uninvolved, uninformed.

I’m sorry, nowhere in the Constitution does it authorize the President of the United States to demand anyone shed their cynicism. And I’m all for people pushing themselves to be better, but I don’t think the President demanding it is the way to go about it.

And what if we kind of like our lives as usual? What about Americans’ freedom to be uninvolved and uninformed?

Darleen at Protein Wisdom transcribed what follows:

“You have to stay at the seat at the table of democracy with a man like Barack Obama not just on Tuesday but in a year from now, in four years from now, in eights years from now, you will have to be engaged.”

Ah. Apparently apathy will be criminalized, then?

Does anybody on the left side of the aisle find this rhetoric a little creepy? Isn’t this describing an authoritarian presidency way beyond anything George W. Bush has done or proposed?

Do the powers of the presidency really encompass everything Michelle says Obama wants and plans to do? Based on this rhetoric, isn’t he actually running for messiah?

Too perfect.

Chicago Tribune today:

Several black protesters interrupted a speech this morning by Sen. Barack Obama when he raised a sign that said “What about the black community, Obama.”

Several young African-American men standing behind Obama held the sign at the top of some bleachers in a high school gym in St. Petersburg, Fla.

Obama reminded the men that they were at a town hall-style meeting and would have a chance to speak.

“You can ask a question later,” he said. “Sit down.”

The rest of the audience started to chant, “Yes we can.”

After others in the audience tried to take the sign away, Obama pressed forward with his speech on economic matters. “Now where was I,” he asked, as he tried to regain his composure.

Let’s face facts. McCain has done an awesome job of stealing the spotlight back from The One after his Black Bono Euro Tour De Fart last week. Most of the week has been “What the hell has McCain said or videotaped today?” But unlike Hussein, he didn’t use his control of the spotlight to shine it narcissistically on a phony public image of himself, but instead used it to expose the cockroach on the 3 A.M. kitchen floor that Hussein is.

…and both the Smart-Ass Remark of the Week Award and the Cop of the Week Award go to…

LOS ANGELES (AP) – Lindsay Lohan said Friday that police have no business getting involved in her personal life, a day after the police chief explained that the paparazzi were no longer an issue—in part because the 22-year-old actress had evidently “gone gay.”

“Police, you shouldn’t get involved in everyone else’s business when it comes to their personal life. It’s inappropriate,”

The day before, Chief William Bratton said the paparazzi have become less of a problem thanks to Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and Lohan leading more moderate lifestyles.

“If you notice, since Britney started wearing clothes and behaving; Paris is out of town not bothering anybody anymore, thank God, and evidently, Lindsay Lohan has gone gay, we don’t seem to have much of an issue,” he told KNBC-TV.

Bratton was speaking about his refusal to participate in a meeting held by elected officials Thursday that was called to discuss new laws to curb problem paparazzi.

He called Los Angeles City Councilman Dennis Zine’s special session—which was attended by the likes of John Mayer, Eric Roberts and Milo Ventimiglia—”a complete waste of time.”
