I knew a guy who got hit in the neck with “impact debris” from the felling of a very large tree.
He sustained a spinal cord bruise that turned out to be minor (minor? is there is such a thing?).
Anyways, he recovered to where he was walking unaided and last I heard (over 20 years ago) he could expect to fully recover or recover to the point where he wasn’t as strong as he was pre-accident but he would be the only one who could tell.
One lucky Dude.
PS - that’s why I sometimes post an “exploding comment” on the “Idiots behaving Stupidly” videos.
