Britney Spears To Play Murderous Lezbo Tera Patrick Lover In New Tarentino Film - With Video

Let’s get this outta the way, I ain’t a Britney fan.
There has been a Saturday night or two when Louie has had me put up old clips of “Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!” her at PD.com…some of you may remember those…heh….anyway, Quentin Tarentino is remaking that very flick and casting Ms. Spears as Varla.
I don’t know which way Tarentino’s wind blows politically, but as far as film directing, in my book he is tops, an excellent director, especially when trying to capture those grind house flicks that I grew up watching. Me dear old muddah was a waitress on Kauai and between 1973 and 1978 we lived in Kapaa town (pop. 3,000) across the street from the Roxy Theater which ran Filipino movies on Tuesday nights, and Shaw Brothers Kung Fu Movies on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
In those days it took movies like “Jaws” and “The Exorcist” at least a year, usually two, before ever even coming to Kauai, and when my Ma would go to work every night she’d give me and my sister a couple bucks and we would go to the Roxy, usually about ten people in the whole giant place, sit up in the balcony and watch flicks like “Super Fly” and “Frogs” and “The Don is Dead” and all those Pam Grier and other Blacksploitation flicks that came out.
They didn’t give a shit if we weren’t 17.
I have seen every single Shaw Brothers Kung Fu movie ever produced, probably twice. Learned how to watch movies with subtitles back then, too, which I believe has helped me enjoy the many foreign flicks I watch these days. Some of the best come out of Belgium, France, and Korea.
But oh, those old American mid-70’s grind house flicks.
I’ve seen ‘em all. And Tarentino successfully captures that feeling for me in many of his flicks. Rob Zombie did, as well, with “House of 1000 Corpses” (you guys saw the clip I put up where the guy tries to rob the clown and he sticks the leg of chicken in the robbers face and says “Here, take yo mama home some chicken, so I won’t have to stuff my boot all up in yo ass!” and with “The Devil’s Rejects” and the first half of his remake of “Halloween” Zombie captured that feeling.
So, be it known I don’t think I have ever listened to a Britney Spears song all the way through, and actually despise that whole idiotic aspect of Americana (the Paris/Britney/Lohan paparazzi Teen Idol Madonna bullshit)…I happen to think that if there is any redemption for that misguided child, it will be in getting clean and sober, and changing everything about our perception of her and being thrown at a completely different audience in the hands of a good director.
Like I said, I don’t know where Tarentino is coming from politically, and I don’t give a shit…I’m going to watch this flick. Meanwhile, there is a clip from the original awaiting you and this from The Telegraph:
Britney Spears is being lined up to play a killer lesbian stripper in the Quentin Tarantino’s next movie, it has been reported.
The singer was apparently chosen by the Pulp Fiction director to play dancer Varla in a remake of the 1965 cult film Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!
The movie sees three thrill-seeking strippers encountering a young couple in the desert.
Spears’ character murders the boyfriend with her bare hands before taking the girlfriend hostage. The troubled singer will also have sex scenes with another girl before the drama ends in a blood-bath.
Tarantino is in discussions with other Hollywood stars to take the roles of the remaining two strippers.
A source said: “Quentin is convinced Britney will be brilliant. She’s delighted. She thinks it could turn her career around.
“It is perfect Tarantino material. He wanted to get Britney first. She’s playing the most important character.”
Spears had her first starring role in the 2002 film Crossroads, portraying a high school graduate on a road-trip to find her mother. But despite grossing $60 million worldwide the movie, and Britney’s performance, was panned and she received Razzie Awards for Worst Actress and for Worst Original Song.
