Bambi’s been leaving Coulter alone because she trashes McCain.
August 5th, 2008 at 9:32 pmThe alternatives would be “Get Stoned and 4get to Vote” or “Smoke Crack and Vote 4 Obama”?
August 5th, 2008 at 10:12 pmWith respect to John McCain, Ann Coulter has shown a new low for herself in juvenile talk and politically counterproductive behavior.
Obama is an anti-military socialist, who will increase government spending and thus taxes, would have lost Iraq, will pursue appeasement policies in foreign affairs, seek outright amnesty in immigration, promote pro-abortion policies and nominate left wing judges to the federal bench. So that is someone whom Ann Coulter would by default have elected President by undercutting John McCain?
John McCain is a pro-life fiscal conservative who served his country as a Navy combat aviator and P.O.W., who has been a fiscal hawk and will cut Government spending, who has been right all along on Iraq and will insist on victory in Iraq, who has been and will be a hawk in foreign policy, who will cut the corporate tax rate to spur business, who accepts the judgment of the majority of American people that law enforcement in immigration must come first and who pledged to the Federalist Society in January 2007 and thereafter that he will nominate strict constructionists to the U.S. Supreme Court. And that is someone whom Ann Coulter cannot fully support, without snide remarks, against Obama?
My older son is a U.S. Army Captain (with Ranger tab) who served 15 months as an infantry platoon leader in Iraq (August 2006-October 2007); for his service, he earned a Bronze Star and an Army Commendation Medal for Valor for actions under fire. My younger son is a U.S. Marines Second Lieutenant. I cannot help but note McCain’s support of the surge and our guys in Iraq when it was not popular, as it was not when my older son was there. I cannot help but note and appreciate that John McCain’s sons are continuing his family tradition of military service to the nation — John McCain is the son and grandson of U.S. Navy Admirals. One of John McCain’s sons is a Lance Corporal in the U.S. Marines has served in Iraq; the other is attending the U.S. Naval Academy. John McCain speaks often of service to the nation, and he is by far the most qualified person to be the next Commander in Chief. And that, again, is someone whom Ann Coulter cannot fully support?
Excuse me, Coulter, but I cannot imagine anyone but John McCain as our next Commander in Chief. Having sons in the military may not be your thing, Coulter, but there are those of us who have flesh and blood in the battle and there is but one candidate who can has shown himself to be worthy — John McCain.
The sober decision is to vote for John McCain and realize that while you may not have agreed with him on everything, he is a man who has served his country faithfully and deserves high office, who believes in putting country first, who on the truly important matters is an outstanding candidate and who is the one Republican in this election year who can prevent Obama from being President.
August 6th, 2008 at 3:15 amI will hold my nose and vote for McCain. No matter what Phil says about Ann.

August 6th, 2008 at 10:04 amPhil, your response is the best response I have heard!! The Surge and the War on Terror are two points that stand out in a big way. Let us not forget the close Supreme Court decision recently involving the 2nd Amendment. I am very concerned with Obama’s former friends. More and more am I standing up big time forSen. McCain. My son served in Iraq from March 2007 until May 2008 and was part of The Surge. I am looking for a movie on The Surge( I am sorry I have been in the heat to long!)
August 6th, 2008 at 12:26 pmYou just have to have a well developed sense of humor (and satire) to “get” Ann … God love her … too bad I’m married cause I think she’s hot (not to mention articulate and funny)
August 6th, 2008 at 1:54 pmJust a friendly warning on drink-to-vote.
If you start the night before, you could miss Election Day entirely. You could get pulled over and they don’t let you vote in jail.
You might vote for Obama through impaired coordination, or because you really don’t care which goddam button you push.
You might mistake the voting booth for a porta-potty at a rock festival. (Glad I live in a Democratic district, in that case.)
Everyone will know who the GOP is on Election Day, too.
But there’s an upside: you can always say to that hottie at the bar that you were so blitzed on Election Day you don’t know WHO the fuck you voted for, coulda been Obama . . .
I sent a message with that friendly advice to Ann Coulter at GetDrunkYadaYada and, la-di-da, she blocked me from the website without even a riposte. She’s running out of lines, the poor dear. Her tobacco-tanned hide must finally be contracting and causing additional brain damage. In the rain she stinks like a dog.
