I tried to come off as giving my best impression of what I heard. This will be the MSM message. I got cut off.
I tried to lsiten with an open mind, and I heard a reaction to the “Where are you, Daddy?” kid stuff that is going to resonate with some voters. I was just getting into it, when I got cut off; they thought I was starting an Obama rant, and accused me of a martooni-attack.
IE-7 doesn’t allow me to get into the comment thread, but, trust me, I wasn’t going where they thought I was. I tried to introduce why I thought my comment was different. I genuinely believe that the end of Michelle Obama’s speech was effective, because of they “Where are you, Daddy?” comment. I think we need to accept that.

I have done it for 22 years and my kids have never shamed me. My oldest joined the Army, I have another in college and my daughter got dumped last night because at 14 she not ready to kiss a boy. My youngest is just young still. LOL
Families are more important than anything. And PARENTING is the foundation of that. Maybe her kids wouldn’t be such brats and grab microphones if she was more of a mom.

Saying what was done was effective is just an analysis, not necessarily an endorsement, so I had no problem with what you were saying. I wanted to ask you more questions, but unfortunately you were gone before we could get into it, and come to some conclusion. If you were hung up on, you shouldn’t have been.

I recognized you from other posts here and knew you were not a troll. I understood what you meant by what you said.
There have been quite a few trolls though and sometimes it is difficult, especially for hosts - doing live shows, to know if someone is or isn’t if they do not recognize you right off and I think that is just what happened tonight.
I enjoyed the show eventhough I got there very late. I will have to listen to the whole thing later.
Pat really summed it up well when he said - to the effect of - that there is something really wrong when the wife of the candidate is up there explaining that she loves America. It should not even be at issue. It should be a given and in the case of B.O. and Mrs. Obama that is not the case. There is no comfort in their words or actions now. It is way too little too late. But those who see B.O. as the next Messiah - and many around me in my little part of the planet - will not see that, and do not see that, and will be snowed into the dog and fuckin’ pony show that all Chicago politicians are soooo good at and displayed once again tonight. They suck it up.
