A relative got a HUGE halibut fish hook caught in his nose. He was fishing by the Aleutian Islands and it would have taken a couple of days to get to a doctor. So he took a pair of pliers, cut the curve off the hook, then pulled it out of his nose slowly but surely. He immersed Q-Tips in hydrogen peroxide, dabbed the holes in his nose, and went back to work.
