I would like to personally invite Obama to my hometown to try out his skills at “The Wedge” when it’s pumping. I got beat there many times in my youth. Water is about a foot deep where the waves are crashing.

    Where is his family?

Looks like he is out there playing in the surf with a bunch of men . . . uncomfortable photo op.

Splashing around isn’t surfing, Charlie don’t surf.

He’s right where he belongs - thousands of miles from Washington.

Rounds down range = hot war, not cold. Why is the MSM calling this “cold?”

If this “vacation” is any indication of how he would handle a crisis as POTUS, well then buyer beware. (Damaged goods.) :!:

    HE CAN SWIM???!!

This is not a time for a vacation.

Obama is not ready to lead. Not now. Not ever.

Hawaii has the reputation of having the most ethnically diverse population in all of the U.S. and without any minority-type residential enclaves or ghettos. There are more mixed marriages, too, and they’re very successful. But Snobama made a snotty remark in his memoirs (Dreams From My Father) that disparaged Hawaii’s reputation. Of course, as a Marxist, he can’t afford to advertise the U.S. in a positive light.

In his memoirs Obama also wrongfully and maliciously accused Christian missionaries of bringing “crippling disease” to Hawaii (page 23 in the paperback version). The first Christian missionaries to Hawaii arrived in 1820, were accompanied by Native Hawaiian missionaries, and brought a physician with them to treat the sexual and other diseases first visited on the islands by British Capt. Cook’s crew in the late 1790s.

In fact, before the missionaries ever set foot in Hawaii, decades of whalers, sailors, fur traders, and merchants had impacted the islands and diseases were already prevalent. So where did Obama get that false quote from? Did he make it up to disparage Christianity? Is it another elitest Snobama remark to make Black Liberation Theology sound better by comparison?

By the way, here’s some more false history re. Hawaii which liberal historians have had fun with for years. Christian missionaries are accused of forcing the Native Hawaiians to give up their “ancient religion.” ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE. The missionaries didn’t arrive until 1820. King Kamehameha II abolished the established religion in 1819. The brutal religion had been forced on Hawaii by conquerors from Fiji and included human sacrifice as well as other major indignities.

This is verified by ships’ logs, missionaries’ diaries, and by the verbal and written history of Native Hawaiians.

Some excellent books on Hawaiian history include Herb Kane’s “Ancient Hawai’i,” anything by David Malo or Kamakau, “Grapes of Canaan” by Albertine Loomis, “Shoal of Time” by Gavan Daws, and “Perpetuated in Righteousness” by Daniel Kikawa.
