With nuke plants all the waste is stored in tightly sealed containers then buried, the only byproduct released into the atmosphere is a little bit of steam from the cooling plants that's less radioactive than a lightbulb. Yet we have nuclear free zones that wear it like a merit badge when it's really a dunce cap. We need more nuclear power and we need to drill our own oil supplies instead of sending all that money overseas.
