They know we will protect civillians, if we can. They know that is a weakness, but that is nothing new. US troops have done a fine job of protecting civillians and whacking scum. Yeah, it’s harder, but our troops are better motivated, that way.

I saw an internal Russian post about the ‘firing’ of the Chechen thugs brought down to Georgia. If this was already noted, over here, ’nuff said, but otherwise, yall should know there is some internal heat in Russia about the assholes they unleashed in Georgia.

They are seriously underestimating our artillery and Navy. This is all posturing, a delaying tactic. They want time to finish their nuclear program.

Even if they had a system that could accurately target our Navy in the water they’d be fools to fire it even once. That’s all it takes for our systems to find and flatten it. This is assuming of course that it’s not already pre-targeted.

A mission in Iran would be all about taking down the nuclear facilities, military targets, and infrastructure. No need to send troops in, if anything some costal raids to knock out missle batteries. More of a seal the borders/coast then unleash naval gunfire (I miss the BB)and air sorties.
