The guys in his platoon tell me the sunsets there are beautiful for such a hell hole. All in time though. Japan was no place to visit for years after WW2.. now it is a thriving place with lots to offer tourist. The writer is an ass..

I'd especially want to tour the historic sites like the "house from hell" in Fallujah and some of the other sites of American honor. Just like I did years ago in Normandy and around Europe I would love to go pay homage to those who sacrificed for us, their buddies, and most amazing of all, people they didn't even know. Turn the entire country of Iraq into a memorial!!! I’d visit Iraq as a tourist in a fucking minute if I had any way to finance it.
