    A Kerry-ism: When asked why he was voting for Obama, he said, with his nose in the air, “Because he’s a black person.”

    It’s a socially accepted form of racism. Vote for someone on the basis of their ethnic background only.

    I think an Obama/Kerry alliance would rival the Clinton/Gore hostile relationship. We’re talking about two elitests here. I’ll never forget the spectacle of Clinton and Gore approaching a narrow doorway at the same time (during Clinton’s pre-inaugural ceremony) and simultaneously trying to walk through. They both tried to edge the other out of the way, using their shoulders as leverage.

    Yeah, bring it on. An Obama/Kerry relationship would provide fodder for the late night comics for years.

    Kerry is up for having a big loss to a real man in Ma. this year so maybe he’ll go for it. In Mass. he cannot run for both simultaneously.
