McCain To Debut Obama-Rezko Corruption Website
Related: Obama’s Housing Problem
Well, it started out sort of light and silly enough, but suddenly it’s getting very hot in here.
This morning, Politico published an article from which this is excerpted:
Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said in an interview Wednesday that he was uncertain how many houses he and his wife, Cindy, own.
“I think — I’ll have my staff get to you,” McCain told Politico in Las Cruces, N.M. “It’s condominiums where — I’ll have them get to you.”
The correct answer is at least four, located in Arizona, California and Virginia, according to his staff. Newsweek estimated this summer that the couple owns at least seven properties.
In recent weeks, Democrats have stepped up their effort to caricature McCain as living an outlandishly rich lifestyle…
The Obama campaign seized on the house issue Thursday with an ad called “Seven,” claiming that’s the number of houses McCain has. The ad closes with a shot of the White House and the narration: “Here’s ONE house American can’t afford to let John McCain move into.”
McCain spokesman Brian Rogers said in response: “Does a guy who made more than $4 million last year, just got back from vacation on a private beach in Hawaii and bought his own million-dollar mansion with the help of a convicted felon really want to get into a debate about houses? Does a guy who worries about the price of arugula and thinks regular people ‘cling’ to guns and religion in the face of economic hardship really want to have a debate about who’s in touch with regular Americans?
“The reality is that Barack Obama’s plans to raise taxes and opposition to producing more energy here at home as gas prices skyrocket show he’s completely out of touch with the concerns of average Americans.”
At a campaign appearance in Chester, Va., on Thursday morning, Obama said: “Somebody asked John McCain, ‘How many houses do you have?’ And he said, I’m not sure. I’ll have to check with my staff. True quote: I’m not sure, I’ll have to check with my staff. So they asked his staff and he said, at least four. At least four! …
Then Drudge and everyone else picked it up, and McCain wasn’t feeling so great, apparently, and now he’s launching a website - being readied this afternoon - dedicated to exposing the shady ties that bind Hussein and Rezko.
Now it’s good that this stuff will once again become highlighted to the public eye, and that many people will even become aware of it for the first time, but the real key to the matter will be whether or not McCain is able to get the darker truths of what went on between Rezko and Hussein vis a vis this whole house deal. Stuff we’ve discusssed here before and fairly regularly on the Blog Talk Radio show, “The Jihadi Killer Hour”. The real dark truth about that house deal between Hussein and Rezko…the one thing that can definitely sink the S.S. Bullshit…let’s see how close to the truth McCain gets…because the MSM has already been covering it up…and a lot of people aren’t going to be too happy about McCain’s site, because it can now function as a center of gravity, a bright shining central platform for those who know the truth…this is what’s best about the new age of the internet… not that the medium is the message, but that the audience can now be the author of the message…it’s called the democratization of information…
Politico is already trying to cover up for Hussein. They describe McCain’s website thusly: “Sen. John McCain’s campaign is fighting back against questions about his house holdings by opening a website focusing on past questions about Sen. Barack Obama’s dealings with controversial Chicago businesssman Tony Rezko”, using the term “past questions” to imply that they have been answered. They have not been.
It’s then followed up by a whitewash that fails to mention that Rezko bought the property himself, but in his wife’s name, in collusion with Hussein, and that the only reason he bought it was so that Hussein could afford the lot next door. They make it sound like it was pure happenstance that Rezko’s wife owned the lot next to the Obamas. In fact, she owned it because Rezko was bribing Hussein with the purchase, and Hussein gladly accepted it, knowing that he was now beholden to the Syrian influence peddler. And they fail to mention that before being forced to admit at least a portion of the truth, Hussein twice lied to the Chicago Sun-Times, saying he didn’t know until well after he moved in that the Rezkos owned the vacant lot next door, when in fact he had made detailed arrangements with Tony to buy the property on the same day as he, or the owners wouldn’t sell him his house. The messiah is just an ordinary, low-life, petty liar.

August 21st, 2008 at 1:29 pmI saw Politico diving into the Obama tank a while ago. But not to the same ‘depth’ as Newsweek.
Pretty obvious ’set-up’ question. Seems kinda stupid just for a soundbite that MAC might be ‘rich’. Who gives a fuck?
So is Bambi. Looks like Bambi’s gonna pay for it though and he should.
Ass-kissing MSM.
Actually, I think Obama is an unusually charismatic and talented liar, and consummate corrupt politician. Eventually they are found out, though. If he actually ends up being the Democratic candidate he will be fully exposed. The resulting rout will be a repeat of 1972 or worse and the end of his “career”.
August 21st, 2008 at 1:29 pmIf Obama was a nuclear reactor one could say that his cooling pumps have shut down and his rods are exposed.Next step “China Syndrome”.
