    recently i came around the news that the EuroParliament is going to review the ecological aspects of building the “Nord Stream” under sea gas pipeline that would connect the germany and russia directly …although the past events with the german chansellors and their pro-russian standing have marginalised the germanys political strength …i wonder what would Helmut Kohl would have said about that .. by the way he was a very close friend of our ex-president Eduard Shevardnadze (who was a foreign minister of USSR at that time) - their political will basicaly brought down the Berlin Wall and reunited the germany - todays chansellors of germany arent the people of the same caliber

    I wonder if Chancellor Merkel’s opposition party is going to send a representative to Georgia also, like the Democrats are sending Senator Biden? I get the feeling that the war between Georgia and Russia has become a kind of popular bench mark for politicians to prove they haven’t forgotten what happened to Czechoslovokia. My words aren’t meant as criticism against Merkel in any way.
