I can understand if you're flying formation, but for some reason I don't think that that's what they were doing. Sounds harsh, but they deserved to die, if you're not smart enough not to let your plane collide with another plane, you're not smart enough to keep living. Sounds harsh, but they deserved to die, if you’re not smart enough not to let your plane collide with another plane, you’re not smart enough to keep living. Same thing with people who drive on the wrong side of the road.

There are a shit load of things that could have gone wrong, instrument failure, mechanical failure, operator error, control tower error, lack of sleep, lack of training/experience, alcohol/drugs, the occasional anomaly, etc, etc, etc...
