Phooey. There’s no such thing as “anonymity” on the ‘Net, especially where tracking someone’s interests are concerned.

Coming from the same company that infamously refuses (unlike Linux) to release the source code so that its OS can be scourged for backdoors, my hunch is that this new “porn mode” was added at the request of various intel agencies as bait to make the wrongdoers/terrorists/etc reveal themselves and/or to tempt the potential perverts into thinking they can indulge themselves while their every move is tracked.

Safari has had, “private browsing” for a few years now. Microsoft has been playing catch up with better software packages for even longer.

“as added at the request of various intel agencies as bait to make the wrongdoers/terrorists/etc reveal themselves”

Uhm, you may need to up your dosage of meds! No doubt any serious computer forensics expert can find everyplace you’ve been or visited regardless of “private browsing” mode or not. I doubt “intel agencies” are interested in knowing if you want to look at girls (or boys) with dropped trou!

Did anyone see the Zune phone from Microsoft made to compete with the iphone from Apple, yeah, neither did I. I heard is zucked!!! LOL

Olberman and MSNBC. I’m seriously considering getting rid of ALL MS products.
