Yeah I know the left would think it typical of military personnel, a bunch of convicts, I look at it as a positive, because it shows how Americans can kick serious ass in war.

There really are so many good ones, typically, as said before, those starring The Duke, and almost all the ones maid regarding WWII. But that was when the leaders of Hollywood were American Patriots in the most part, the Jews that were appreciative of the American power that was fighting to save their religious brethren.

Now the hollyweird elitists are anti-American, they inherited the reins of power, but never learned what it was for people to suffer, other than in their personal homosexual fantasies…

They Were Expendable – At the end, the last flight out, Robert Montgomery’s character stands up to give his place to a man when that man asks someone to take a letter to his family. John Wayne’s character makes him sit down because he had a duty to return to the States to train more PT boat crews. I swell up every time I see that. They don’t make’em like that anymore.

African Queen does fit the criteria. Bogart’s character was a yank, Rosie’s brother the Reverend was killed by Germans and the gunboat, “Louisa” that the Queen sank with those gas cylinder torpedoes controlled the lake for the Kaiser.
I enjoy a strong love story where America’s enemies die in large quantities.

Amazing feature in the post credits were that during the filming in parts of Australia, some Japanese exchange students hired to play J soldiers couldn’t fathom why they shot scenes of such brutality committed against US/Commonwealth soldiers and Philippino civs.

Here’s one: World War III (TV miniseries) with David Soul from Starsky and Hutch. Russians invade Alaska because of a grain embargo. Handful of soldiers with even less ammo hold them off…Wow.
