so they haven’t made that definition. I guess those 4 years of catholic school went against the Church. And I also assume that the Church takes such a strong stance against abortion because they were blackmailed by Bush’s Neo-Nazis. I mean that’s actually probably pretty accurate in her mind.

I wouldn’t have such a problem if she said she supported abortion due to political and philosophical reasons, but to rag the Church into it, and then to flat out lie about the Church’s position on the issue is a new low.

The Catholic Church has done a horrible job in actually enforceing it’s own standards. One thing I don’t understand is why (at least it seems to me) so many “Catholic” politicians, especially the Irish ones, go against their religion and country at almost every turn. Abortion, gay marriage, etc. And the churches own leaders, frankly suck. Look at Fr Phleger and pedophile priest like Bernie Ward, and you can see that they have some serious issues.
