And yet, you brainless fuck, if we extract our own oil fast, we can double or triple the supply on any given day, in the short term, ie over the next ten or twenty years until alternative energy has been developed. This will cut oil prices by 50 or 66%. How can you not see this. Its not like we use 25% of all the worlds oil RESERVES in a given year, only 25% of the SUPPLY. You bitch about the long lead time to get new oil but how long will it take to make large amounts of energy from solar and wind.

If you noticed, during her speech at the convention, none of the networks covered it except MSNBC. CNN and FOX ignored her, inteviewing talking heads while she was on. She’s an embarassment–even the MSM ignores her. That’s saying something! And the Archbishop of D.C. issued a statement correcting her on her theology with regard to when life begins. I heard her new book that she went on tour for instead of holding a vote on drilling sold 4,000 books. Ya think she’d take the hint. She demonstrated obvious contempt in her “brain” comment–for 70% of the American public. Steny Hoyer: yeah, we use 28% of the energy, and PRODUCE 30% of the world’s goods and services! Dope!

The only place they do approve drilling is our economy’s ass. They learned the lesson of 2004 that it wasn’t enough to just bitch about a bad economy when it was actually good so they conspired to break it for this election.

Polls show Repubs will lose substantial representation in the House and Senate this year.
Obama wins too and it’s 20 years minimum to recover, if at all.

“Do you feel that Congress should allow for possible drilling in areas over 50 miles from our coasts and in ANWR? Over 70% of Americans do.”
