RNC Via McCain Insiders: Ridge Is Off The List - With Video

Do it the Sherlock Holmes way: Everyone’s a suspect, then begin eliminating.
The RNC said today that sources inside the McCain camp have indicated that Tom Ridge is no longer on John McCain’s list of potential Vice-Presidential running mates. Personally, I don’t think he would have been a good choice for that particular slot anyway. Like Pat and Media Lizzie, I’m hoping for a McCain/Cantor ticket. Fox’s Carl Cameron has the scoopage:

Be respectful of others and their opinions. Inflammatory remarks and inane leftist drivel will be deleted. It ain’t about free speech, remember you’re in a private domain. My website, my prerogative.
If you can't handle using your real email address, don't bother posting a comment.
I like Cantor alot. He’s my Rep. and a straight shooter.
August 19th, 2008 at 12:27 pmIt’s gotta be a tough choice though with all the ‘purple’ states.
I can’t believe a pro-choice Veep would be an asset.
This may mean he’s steering away from what would an almost certain mistake of picking a pro-choice VP (thank God).
I would still probably vote for McCain, even he chose such a candidate, mainly because I fear having Hussein as our potential Commander in Chief, despite my being personally anti-abortion (except in extenuating circumstances). But I certainly can’t speak for the Conservative base as a whole.

August 19th, 2008 at 1:36 pmthank GOD!!!
August 19th, 2008 at 2:30 pmRush had a tip that Lieberman was a serious contender and that the top contributers were sent letters stating this. If this is a trial balloon it has to be popped fast. McCain is starting to get a foothold with the base. Don’t F-it up now.
August 19th, 2008 at 3:01 pmim happy it wasnt Ridge. he might be a good guy, hell i dont know. but not really what i was looking for in a veep.
