I remember the first time I saw this video last year, there was a lot of debate about it on LiveLeak. I noticed a rat tail sticking out of the snake’s mouth, so it is probable that the snake’s owner fed it a rat/mouse, then as the snake was swallowing, stuffed the chick in its mouth. Don’t show this to little kids because it could scar them for life.

What astonished me about the response to this video last year, was how people reacted with such horror and disgust…these were people who frequented a website that featured beheadings, executions, etc etc etc…LOL. Nothing to watch people get their throats slit and gurgle and choke on their own blood, or fall from high buildings, or get ripped in half by a commuter train, but show them a chirping baby chick slowly get swallowed by a snake, and they fall apart. Interesting study in human behavior.
