DENVER (AP) - Sen. Barack Obama has brought his historic quest for the presidency to the site of the Democratic National Convention, landing at Denver International Airport as the formal nomination roll call drew near.
Excitement was building on the floor among delegates anticipating a convention moment unequalled in the history of such gatherings. Obama’s plane landed under clear skies, bringing him to Colorado after he made a series of campaign stops along the way.
