Obama and Romney in closer, but bloodier, times

Guy’s a dirty fuckin’ liar period.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said Barack Obama is “absolutely” injecting the issue of race into the presidential campaign on Sunday morning, and twice calling it “a lie” for the Democratic presidential nominee to claim otherwise.

“To say that Barack Obama did not intentionally inject the idea of his name and his race is a lie,” Graham said in an interview on “Fox News Sunday.”

“There is no doubt in my mind that Sen. Obama is trying to suggest that he is the victim of something,”

The issue of race exploded onto the campaign trail this week after Obama delivered a speech in which he said he was being attacked because he “doesn’t look like all those other presidents on the dollar bills.”

The McCain campaign later accused Obama of “playing the race card,” a charge the Obama camp angrily denied.

“To say that that is not trying to inject the idea that you are a victim of John McCain trying to make fun of your name and your racial background is a lie,” said Graham. “That needs to be admitted to.”

Appearing on Fox with Graham, former Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle (D-S.D.) defended Obama’s comments.

“What he was saying all along is that he has a different kind of resume,” said Daschle. “What he was saying is that he is a different kind of candidate, a different kind of leader.”

“.. Obama is trying to suggest that he is the victim of something,”..”

Well he is half white so maybe he really is just the victim of himself, his Momma and his typical white grandparents. Y’know… the ones that gave him the Kansas values he’s so proud of… that make him love America and be all the patriot he can be.

I think I’d be perfectly happy with Romney as a VP. He just owned CNN big time.

I’ve seen Romney speak in a small setting and I gotta say, he was good. I did not go to the event expecting much from him but came away liking the guy more than I thought.

As a chick, I also am not above saying that a little mancandy is not a bad thing to have to look at for 4 solid years…

Simple Supply and demand is being ignored by both Democrats and Republicans. In fact the basic principles of Capitalism and free market economics seems to escape them all. When supplies are controlled by monopolistic nationalized countries in a cartel union and we are not allowed to find our own resources or expand or productive capacity well then we are at the whim of that market demand. China is willing to pay top dollar for oil as well as well as the USA. Supplies are low because they control the gateway prices to barrels of oil. When we start drilling for our own resources again, which is the main reason why we even bought Alaska form the Russians in the first place, then prices will fall on speculation of increased supply.

The Demoncrats have a two fold agenda, Keep supplies low by not allowing drilling under the guise of Global warming, second, demonize and overburden the actual producers who can actually bring us the energy. The government can’t do this and won’t spend the stolen money to do so based on the first principle above.

Oil companies can’t drill so the price goes up because of market demand. Then they are taxed so that their capital can’t be used to expand oil drilling and exploration. Then we blame the founders of the feast, Private oil as the demons when it’s actually government interference that is causing the global crisis. Putin is personally worth over 80 billion dollars from Nationalized oil. Compare this to our entire Private oil industry profits of 50 billion.

I don’t see the down side to Romney. He was my choice for President already…and I love the way he mauled the CNN bimbo. I’ve heard a lot about him being a Mormon, but all that religious talk is surely off the table now.

After the Rev. Wright/Fr. Fleager dust ups, the dems would have to be suicidal to start discussions about religion. Bring it on!

    jam,
It’s not the Democrats that are attempting to curb the rise of Rommney, it’s all the RHINOs such as Pat “Sieg Hiel” Buchanan and Mike Huckabee.

reduce the corporate tax rate and oil companies can reduce the prices we pay at the pump but the marxist reporter automatically assumes they will just pocket the change. I wish these geniuses would just go and investigate exactly what it takes to lead a company, satisfy customers employees and stckholders while maintaining profitability and balancing R&D with small buyouts while preserving the environment and dealing with wars and other instabilities. The average Joe poor guy has very little stress in comparison, particularly government yahoos who neednt satisfy anyone but have a compliant media that will fudge the numbers and point the finger of blame at someone else when things go wrong, all the while securing an exorbinant salary with ridiculous benefits and retirement at the expense of taxpayers.
