White Supremacist Plot To Kill Obama From High Vantage Point, Rifle Sighted At 750 Yards With Video

I came across this story earlier tonight, just before the radio show, but set it aside. More details have emerged…At first I had heard that the cops had pulled over some tweakers (meth users) for weaving and they found a bunch of crank (meth) and some weapons. These cranksters directed the cops to their hotel where their other accomplice was, and he jumped out the window…From 6 floors up.

Broke his ankle and they caught the dumb-ass…Pictured, Tharin Gartrell (inset) and some weird white supremacists types, but notice the anarchist symbol. I would take these guys for extreme right wingers, but then the extreme left wingers who have been hanging out in Denver this week also use the anarchist symbol…

What the hell does that tell you?

…details are found in this story from CBS4Denver:

CBS4 has learned at least four people are under arrest in connection with a possible plot to kill Barack Obama at his Thursday night acceptance speech in Denver. All are being held on either drug or weapons charges.

CBS4 Investigator Brian Maass reported one of the suspects told authorities they were “going to shoot Obama from a high vantage point using a … rifle … sighted at 750 yards.”

Law enforcement sources tell Maass that one of the suspects “was directly asked if they had come to Denver to kill Obama. He responded in the affirmative.”

The story began emerging Sunday morning when Aurora police arrested 28-year-old Tharin Gartrell. He was driving a rented pickup truck in an erratic manner according to sources.

Sources told CBS4 police found two high-powered, scoped rifles in the car along with camouflage clothing, walkie-talkies, wigs, a bulletproof vest, a spotting scope, licenses in the names of other people and 44 grams of methamphetamine. One of the rifles is listed as stolen from Kansas.

Aurora police alerted federal officials because of heightened security surrounding the Democratic convention, Dudley said.

“Clearly we found there are federal implications — otherwise we would not have notified them,” Det. Marcus Dudley with Aurora police said. “The weapons clearly would cause great concern.”

Subsequently authorities went to the Cherry Creek Hotel to contact an associate of Gartrell’s. But that man, identified as Shawn Robert Adolph, 33, who was wanted on numerous warrants, jumped out of a sixth floor hotel window. Law enforcement sources say Adolph broke an ankle in the fall and was captured moments later. Sources say he had a handcuff ring and was wearing a swastika, and is thought to have ties to white supremacist organizations.

A third man — an associate of Gartrell and Adolph, Nathan Johnson, 32, was also arrested. He told authorities that the two men “planned to kill Barack Obama at his acceptance speech.”

Johnson, along with his girlfriend, Natasha Gromek, are also under arrest on drug charges.

The Secret Service, FBI, ATF and the joint terrorism task force are all investigating the alleged plot.

The U.S. Attorneys Office has scheduled a news conference for Tuesday afternoon. The U.S. Attorney in Denver said it does not believe there is a credible threat to Obama or the convention.

“It’s premature to say that it was a valid threat or that these folks have the ability to carry it out,” said a U.S. government official familiar with the investigation. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because the investigation is ongoing.

U.S. Attorney Troy Eid said the case was under investigation.

“We’re absolutely confident there is no credible threat to the candidate, the Democratic National Convention, or the people of Colorado,” Eid said in a prepared statement.

Nods to Sandy.

Fascism is an authoritarian nationalist political ideology and mass movement that is concerned with notions of cultural decline or decadence, and which seeks to achieve a millenarian national rebirth by exalting the nation or race, as well as promoting cults of unity, strength and purity.

Anarchism is defined by The Concise Oxford Dictionary of Politics as “the view that society can and should be organized without a coercive state.” Specific anarchists may have additional criteria for what constitutes anarchism, and they often do not agree with each other on what these criteria are. According to The Oxford Companion to Philosophy, “there is no single defining position that all anarchists hold, beyond their rejection of compulsory government, and those considered anarchists at best share a certain family resemblance”.

Some people are idiots… and ruin it for everyone.

Here we go. The left is going to call these people Far Right in order to make people believe that White Supremacists are Right Wing. This is the biggest lie and is a Marxist strategy that is so effective that even the Conservative Right believes that these groups are Right Wing.

White Supremacy is a form of Socialism where one group is made to be of higher importance than an another. Nazi’s were Socialists, where the people (Volks) must sacrifice all for the state and the German Race. The KKK, and many similar groups that base there rights on Group division are usually Democrats. This, my friends is Left Wing. Conservative Right Wingers traditionally like to protect Individual rights. This goes all the way back to the founding of the United States.

Racist Supremacy groups are Left wing and share all the values of such. The only difference between Liberals and these Supremacists is the ease at their willingness to use force to implement their ideas.

Liberals are going to spout this for eternity.
Why would the right wing, kill the left wing. Makes no sense.

Egfrow, I agree 100%. It is a mistake that is often passed as truth on purpose. These losers are not “extreme right wing” because there is nothing “right wing” about them.
They seek to control others by force. They are losers one and all!

“I hate Illinois [and Denver] Nazis”

The far left and the far right are not so far apart. When you get into the whacko level of each, they should love each other.

I you take a circle and cal the top of the circle the ‘center’, where the folks are bi-partisan and go a little left and a little right, then, the left and right depart from the top of the circle. The more left or right you are the closer you get to the bottom of the circle where the left and right converge at the insane nutjob level. Those extremists are all in the same boat but just don’t know it.

Great picture Bash! It says it all. Sick twisted fucks. :gun: :gun: :gun:

This is the very thing that I knew would come up and it was only a matter of time and yes the left will try to make these wastes of skin represent the right and far right.
I am glad they were caught. Give them a fair trial, convict them, and if possible, hang them.

  10. Right_Is_Right

The thing that gets me is that this nut-job jumped out of a 6th floor room and only broke an ankle!? Yet, you hear about someone that rolls out of bed, bumps their head, and dies! That pisses me off.

Some swastika ink doesn’t make him a member of the brotherhood, probably just some storefront type meth head.

wouldn’t they have been doing our country a service by trying to prevent socialism?

    yea its a little extreme..but i wonder?

  14. Unbreakable

I’m calling bullshit on this and I wonder if this isn’t just a planted story meant to boost “the one’s” star factor and ratings. Almost like the Dems said, “Well, no one’s tried to kill him yet, gonna have to fabricate something.” I mean come on, the guys they caught don’t look like they are capable of planning a trip to Burger King much less a high level political assasination. :gun:

Everyone should read or re-read (if you’re at least 45 years old) “None dare call it conspiracy” by Gary Allen. The book’s info is mostly dated but much is still well worth reading. It’s free on Google books.

One of the things that I recall really helped me to understand the scam that has been foisted upon Americans for decades in making us believe in a false political spectrum. Typically, the media will refer to Nazis on the “Right” and Communists on the “Left”, and then say that “moderates” are in the middle of the spectrum, and that is the best place to be, blah, blah, blah.

But this book points out that the true spectrum is

On the Left: ALL GOVERNMENT (Totalitarianism, represented by Nazis, Communists, Fascists etc).

On the Right: NO GOVERNMENT (Anarchy).

The Founding Fathers of America were somewhat to the left of the Right side, being for a limited central government, strong states’ rights, and individual liberty. Since that time, the US has drifted to the Left until we are probably to the Left of center and continuing to drift left with every democrat that is elected President (some Republicans too). The Republicans have managed to stop the drift sometimes, but not for long.

The point is that with Anarchy on the extreme Right, and Totalitarianism on the Extreme Left, you begin to understand the BIG LIE that Americans have been brainwashed with for so long, which makes people believe that Big Government is the Norm, and disguises the similarity of the Nazis with the Communists (and the democrats). The guy in the street couldn’t care less about the name of the party in power; what he cares about is his personal freedoms and ability to make money in free enterprise or employment by his own activities. Big government is the same no matter the name on the front.
